check out MY work

hey there,

AHP

With my camera, I love telling stories and capturing the raw, intimate moments that make life so special. My warm and moody style is designed to preserve the ephemeral—those fleeting emotions, subtle connections, and quiet, beautiful moments that existed only in the instant the photo was taken. With my style, I strive to create an intimate atmosphere that ensures that the true essence of each moment is preserved and always remembered.

MY Portfolio

Art has been a lifelong passion for me and I've spent the majority of my life studying it
-the basic fundamentals, different mediums, the history of it, etc.- I've always enjoyed painting and drawing, and had an interest in photography, however, it wasn't until I went to college that I really got into the medium. While studying Studio Art, I explored a wide range of art forms, but photography was where I found my true voice. It became my creative outlet—offering a unique way to tell stories and evoke emotions. I loved how photography allowed me to capture the beauty of everyday life, turning moments into art.
I started my business because during my studies, I realized the impact a photograph can have on someone’s life. It can stir up emotions, thoughts, and memories, both good and bad. I want to be able to preserve the happiness and beauty of important moments—the way my clients remember them.

As a photographer, my role isn't just to create beautiful images—it’s to capture memories. Each session is about preserving the moments you choose to hold onto forever. It’s my job to ensure those moments are treated with the care and importance they deserve. These are your moments, your life, your emotions. No matter the type of session, your story is special, and I want to capture you — the real, raw, beautiful, unique — you. That’s why I pour my heart into every photoshoot.

I'm an Ohio based photographer and I've been photographing couples, families, weddings, individuals, and so much more for nearly 5 years now. I am constantly trying to improve and better myself. I think the best way to be good at your craft is to never stop learning. I love art and I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Studio Art. Studying art has allowed me to not only develop an eye for what looks best, but also a knowledge on how to create captivating compositions that evoke emotion for my viewer. My photography is an extension of my art. This means that I know how to tell stories through my work and that each of my photoshoots are treated like my art, with the care and detail of an artist working on a masterpiece.

More quick things about me: I am married to my best friend, we have the sweetest baby girl and two beautiful dogs. In my free time, I love to draw, collect plants, listen to true crime podcasts, and hang out with my 2 year old. I also love all types of animals, adventures, and music, so feel free to include any of these as part of your photoshoot!

I am very passionate about getting to know people and helping them tell their authentic story through photographs — I firmly believe I can capture personalities, moments, and emotions! I want to create images that reflect who you are and tell your story, so during the session, I leave some time for genuine, unscripted moments as well, in order to really capture who you are. Then, I edit the images to reflect the emotions and feelings preserved in those moments. My goal is to tell your story and help you relive those precious memories all over again through these photographs.

A huge part of my process includes the experience I provide for you — I believe that every photoshoot should feel as unique as the person in front of the camera. I also want to make sure you feel comfortable and confident while still having fun! From the moment we connect, I strive to create a personalized and unique experience for you. After getting to know you, I plan a session that is tailored to you through specific shots and prompts, while also leaving space for you to simply be yourself, ensuring we capture moments that are authentic and true to you.
